Many are taking advantage of In Person Absentee voting in Manitowoc.
Mayor Justin Nickels says City Hall has expanded hours for those wanting to cast their ballots early.
He told SeehaferNews.com that weekdays this week and all next week, City Hall will be open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and on weekends, October 24th, 25th, 31st, and November 1st, City Hall will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Nickels added, “We have safety precautions in place. We have social distancing in place. Masks are required in City Hall. Unfortunately they are not required to vote, but we strongly encourage people to wear them when they come vote.”
There is one voting drop box available on the west side of the building near 10th Street. Nickles said it is “very safe. Very secure. It actually goes into the building when you drop it off.”
Voters can take advantage of that through Election Day.
