The Marquette Golden Eagles men’s and women’s basketball programs have put all team activities on pause for 14 days.
Coaches say each program had one person test positive for COVID-19 after 45 were tested.
Players and some staff members will quarantine until November 4th. Marquette Athletics reports 809 tests have been conducted since late August resulting in eight positive results.
Women’s head coach Megan Duffy calls it a “setback,” adding everyone is looking forward to returning to the court soon.
