The HSHS System of Hospitals is no longer allowing visitors for their patients.
This new policy went into effect today, and hospital officials cite the ever rising number of COVID-19 cases as the reason.
Reports indicate that exceptions will be made for woman and infants, who will be allowed to have one support person and one doula in their rooms. Also patients under 18-years-old are allowed to have their 2 parents or guardians in their rooms, and those nearing the end of their life will have their cases evaluated on a case by case basis.
