Sheboygan County is preparing to host a Drug Take Back Day this Saturday in conjunction with the Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
Those who wish to drop off unused prescription (controlled and non-controlled) and over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, inhalers, non-aerosol sprays, creams, vials and pet medications can do so from 10:00 to 1:00 PM at three locations in the County.
Those locations are Generations in Plymouth, located at 1500 Douglas Drive, the Random Lake Fire Department, located at 718 Spring Street, and at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, located at 3100 Superior Avenue in Sheboygan.
Illegal drugs, needles/sharps, acids, aerosol cans, bio-hazardous materials (anything containing a bodily fluid or blood), personal care products (shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens), household hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, oil, gas), and mercury thermometers will not be accepted.
