Thousands of supporters joined President Trump at Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville, ignoring public health officials’ calls that it be canceled.
People in the crowd said they weren’t afraid of catching COVID-19 at the event. Masks were mandatory, although many people at the rally took them off after they were in.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren hosted a drive-in “Get Out The Vote” rally in Madison where people stayed in their cars and heard the message through the radio.
She also hosted a similar gathering in Milwaukee
