A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he allegedly trespassed in his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and attacked her.
Officers were called to the River Hill Apartment complex at 1500 North 3rd Street at around 2:00 AM last Thursday on a report that someone was yelling at a man to leave.
Officers spoke with a female resident, who claimed that she had heard a knocking on her door but did not see anyone through the peep hole. She opened the door to find her 19-year-old ex-boyfriend standing out of view of the peep hole, and claimed he called her a bad mother before pushing his way into the apartment and punching her. He allegedly punched her several more times before fleeing on a bicycle.
Officers have not yet located the man but have filed charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct, both with Domestic Violence Orders, Trespassing, and two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
