The Manitowoc County Trust to fund outdoor and conservation related projects in Manitowoc County has begun accepting requests for its’ 2020 funding cycle.
The FORWARD Endowment which stands for Friends of Resources, Wildlife and Recreational Development was founded by the Manitowoc Unit of County Fish & Game.
Dean Halverson, CEO of Leede Research, which coordinates the gifting process and helps with grant request materials, says the Trust is managed by Associated Bank and there’s generally $6,000 to $8,000 available for community projects.
FORWARD is accepting applications for grants through December 28th with the actual selection of recipients made at the Gift Committee’s meeting in February 2021.
Projects need to have public benefit and tie to hunting, fishing and conservation and be based in Manitowoc County.
The application process has been automated and is available through the mantyfg.org website.
