
Manitowoc County and the Wisconsin National Guard will be hosting a recurring COVID-19 Community testing site at the Manitowoc County Expo Center.
Emergency Services Director Travis Waack says the dates are as follows” October 20th, November 3rd, November 17th, and December 1st, all to be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Waack says testing is free and open to anyone with symptoms who have had contact with a positive case. You are considered a close contact if you had direct physical contact or within six feet of the person for more than 15 minutes.
Anyone having close contact should quarantine for 14 days and get tested no sooner than five days after exposure.
Rapid and/or antibody tests won’t be available with results being either e-mailed or via phone from the State a few days after being tested.
Testing hours may be reduced if the maximum of 300 daily tests is reached before 6 p.m.
