
With the current season coming to a close the Forward Madison soccer club still doesn’t have a home field for next year as COVID-19 rules keep the team from playing games and conducting full practices in Madison.
The pro soccer organization wants to make decisions early next month on how to operate in 2021 if playing games at Breese Stevens Field isn’t a possibility.
Dane County public health orders don’t allow games to be played in medium-risk sports like soccer and those orders require six feet of distancing between individuals during practice.
This season, Forward Madison has been conducting those practices in Wisconsin Dells and playing games in Wauwatosa.
Team officials say they will play – somewhere – next season.
