Superstar rapper Jay-Z’s Team Roc hosted a Thursday rally in Wauwatosa’s Hart Park to demand justice for teenager Alvin Cole.
The 17-year-old Cole was shot to death outside Mayfair Mall last February.
Cole’s family was joined by the families of Antonio Gonzales and Jay Anderson Junior, all three of which were fatally shot by Wauwatosa Police Officer Joseph Mensah.
After the Milwaukee County district attorney decided not to charge Mensah, Team ROC offered to pay the bail and citation fees for anyone arrested and fined for peacefully protesting.
