Two people were arrested in Appleton yesterday in connection to some violent crimes in another state.
According to the Appleton Police Department Facebook page, SWAT officers were utilized at a home in the 1500 block of East Calumet Street at around 5:00 PM.
They were there to support out of state authorities in arresting the unnamed suspects, and a brief closure of that street was required.
The suspects will not face charges locally, as their crime occurred in a different unspecified state.
