MONTREAL, CANADA - APRIL 24, 2019 : Census.gov USA Government home page under magnifying glass.
Local government officials are working hard to get everyone to fill out their 2020 Census forms. Less than 24 hours remain.
The U-S Supreme Court ruled earlier this week the count would end today (Thursday).
Technically, the deadline is at 11:59 p-m in Hawaii Standard Time – since the island state is the farthest west point of the U-S. That’s 4:59 a-m Friday in Wisconsin.
Officials are scrambling to count everyone because the census can affect how much government funding will be received over the next 10 years.
