The Manitowoc County Health Department’s Annual Flu Clinic will be a little different this year.
According to Health Officer Mary Halada, the event, scheduled for October 27th, will be conducted in a drive-thru fashion.
In a news release, Halada said “Getting a flu vaccine is the first and most important step in protecting oneself and their community against serious respiratory illness.”
The Drive-Thru Flu Clinic will be held at the Manitowoc County Expo Center from 2:00 to 5:00 for children age 6 months to 18 years old. Anyone who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms will be turned away.
A limited supply of the injectable vaccine is available, so it will be done on a first come first served basis.
