According to data compiled by the New York Times, Manitowoc and Sheboygan are among the 20 metro areas most affected by COVID-19, 10 of which are in Wisconsin.
The other cities on that list in Wisconsin are Oshkosh/Neenah, Green Bay, Wausau/Weston, Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, Marinette, and Platteville.
The list was compiled using the number of new cases per 100,000 people in the past two weeks, better known as the Burden Rate.
The list was limited to areas with at least 50,000 residents.
