The Lincoln Park Zoological Society has been busy planning this year’s light show.
According to the latest edition of ZOO NOOZ, new displays will be featured at the Lincoln Park Zoo, and the fish of the Seven Seas section will be expanded. In addition, numerous lighting effects have been enhanced and thanks to WOMT’s Jim Medley, the sound technician, you’ll hear song birds singing, wolves howling, elephants trumpeting and many other wild sounds.
The 9th annual Lights in Lincoln Park will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday November 27th to December 12th and every night December 17th to ‘29th. Show hours are 5pm-8pm and admission is $5.00 per car.
The Family Fun Walk through the light displays on Wednesday, December 30th is also from 5-to-8pm with a cost of $5.00 per adult or $10.00 for a family.
Due to the pandemic, walkers will be asked to social distance to ensure everyone’s safety. Also because of the coronavirus, organizers won’t be able to host Santa nights or provide snacks as they have in the past.
