The Ascend Services Inc 5K Walk and Roll Fundraiser begins today (Saturday).
While typically the participants will all gather together, Ascend Services is offering a virtual option this year. If you choose to participate virtually, run on a treadmill, hike a trail or walk around your own neighborhood on your time, your own way. Those who wish to participate in person will meet at Lincoln Park today.
Deanna Genske, Executive Director, stated, “We realize the uncertainty of the current times and we really wanted to keep our event scheduled and safe. So that is why we are offering different ways to participate.”
