
Lakeland University now has a new president.
Beth Borgen is the 18th president in the history of the Plymouth based liberal arts college. Borgen was promoted into the position after serving as the Executive Vice President.
She is quite familiar with the school, as she graduated in 2011 with a master’s degree of Business Administration.
She has been vital to the growth of the school through fundraising efforts and the implementation of the Cooperative Education program.
Borgen is the first female to hold the position in the 158 year history of the school, and will begin her tenure in the spring of next year.
