The Manitowoc County Mariners have a new Head Football Coach.
A news release states that they have parted ways with TJ Schouten and have agreed to terms with Brent Luebke who will also serve as offensive coordinator.
Luebke returns to the Lakeshore after a brief hiatus to run the Mariners and was the franchise’s first quarterback in 2010. He also had a successful stint as Two Rivers Head Coach in the 2010’s before leaving for coaching opportunities in the Northwoods including a brief tenure as Head Coach of Lakeland High School in Minocqua.
The Mariners were 2 and 6 in the Mid States League this season which concluded last Saturday night with a loss to the Illinois Cowboys of Chicago.
