The Milwaukee chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America has chosen pitcher Corbin Burnes as the Brewers Most Valuable Player for the 2020 season.
After a lost campaign in 2019, Burns led the team with a 2.2 bWAR after pitching to a 2.11 earned run average in 12 appearances, with 88 strikeouts in just under 60 innings.
Reliever Devin Williams was named the team’s Pitcher of the Year after a standout rookie season. The Top Newcomer was infielder Jedd Gyorko, the Unsung Hero award went to reliever Eric Yardley, and pitcher Josh Lindblom was the recipient of the Good Guy award.
