The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is expected to announce today (Wednesday) whether criminal charges will be filed against Wauwatosa Police Officer Joseph Mensah.
17-year-old Alvin Cole was shot to death outside Mayfair Mall February 2nd. He was the third person killed by Officer Mensah in the last five years.
Mensah was cleared in the first two shootings. Police have said the officer was returning fire after Cole shot first.
Cole’s family disputes that version of events and has called for Mensah to be fired.
