
Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels
Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels was elected by his peers from around the State of Wisconsin to serve as the 1st Vice President of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities.
The League of Wisconsin Municipalities consists of 591 villages and cities throughout the State and was created to help Wisconsin cities and villages share ideas and learn from one another, to train and provide information to the people elected and appointed to govern those cities and villages, and to advocate on their behalf with the Wisconsin Legislature, Governor and state agencies.
Mayor Nickels has served on the league board of directors since 2012 and is currently the longest serving member on the board.
He is joined in the leadership roles by President Todd Schmidt, the Village Administrator in Waunakee, and 2nd Vice President Maureen Murphy, who is also the Administrator for the Village of Mount Pleasant.
