An individual who made threats toward a Manitowoc business was arrested late last week.
The Manitowoc Police Department received a report of the threats on Friday evening, which were made on social media to the business and its employees. The suspect was quickly identified as a 33-year-old Two Rivers man.
When officers went to the man’s home, he made threats to law enforcement officers, saying he would shoot anyone who entered his home. He was eventually taken in with the assistance of the Manitowoc County SWAT team without incident.
The unnamed man was charged with five felony counts of Making Terrorist Threats, one felony count of Threat to Law Enforcement Officer, and one felony count of Failure to Comply with Officer’s Attempt to Take Person into Custody. The suspect is being held at the Manitowoc County Jail, pending a bail hearing.
