A Manitowoc man was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a moderate amount of Methamphetamine.
Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of South 35th Street on a report of a 25-year-old man who was on the phone with 911 not being cooperative. The man told the dispatcher “they have a gun” and mentioned a little girl.
Officers located the man, and while they were speaking with him, began to search the home. They were concerned for the safety of the aforementioned child but did not find a child in the home. They did find a backpack with three separate baggies of a crystal-like substance, later determined to be Methamphetamine, weighing in at over 9 grams.
The man was taken into custody on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver.
