A weekend shooting in Beloit has left one woman dead and one man injured.
Police are searching for the shooter who killed 26-year-old Chelsey R. Payton and wounded 23-year-old Jeffery D. Scott.
The report of at least 20 shots being fired was made Saturday at about 2:00 a-m.
A witness told reporters about seeing a crowd of people running from the scene after hearing the shots.
Police haven’t reported any arrests and haven’t identified any suspects in the shooting incident.
