Fire investigators haven’t been able to determine what started a Saturday fire in a corn dryer at a farm near Janesville.
Nearly 30 firefighters worked to put out the flames that caused an estimated $420,000 in damage at Metcafe Farms.
No injuries were reported.
Farm personnel worked with firefighters to put out the flames and unload the corn that remained in the dryer.
The first fire units from Janesville, Milton, Clinton, and Whitewater were called at about 6:25 p-m.
