Tuesday Night Presidential debate drew plenty of surprising similar reaction from both sides of the aisle-at least locally.
Kerry Trask is the Democratic candidate challenging Republican incumbent Paul Tittl to serve a two-year term in Madison representing the 25th Assembly District. He called the debate “disappointing” with President Trump and Joe Biden hurling insults and jabs at one another.
He called that tactic surprising on the President’s part because “…he’s behind in the polls and should be trying to attract people to vote for him.” He said that he felt like Biden tried to keep his composure, and did rather well, however Trask said the debate “produced very little in terms of any kind of clear information.”
Former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch-a Republican- served two four-year terms in the Scott Walker Administration. She told SeehaferNews.com, that “There is an overwhelming disappointment that this is how this went down.”
Kleefisch agreed with a Scott Walker tweet that compared the debate to a movie script of ”Grumpy Old Men” meets the “Fight Club.”
The next Presidential debate is scheduled for October 13th in Miami Florida.
