The Green Bay Packers are up one spot to number-three in this week’s AP Pro 32 poll.
Newsday’s Bob Glauber said, “Aaron Rodgers is off to a spectacular start, and the Packers get out of the gate at 3-0, looking very much like an early Super Bowl contender.”
Super Bowl champion Kansas City is still the top-ranked N-F-L team while Russell Wilson and the Seahawks moved up to number-two. The 3-0 Bills are fourth and the Ravens are number-five.
The Packers look to remain unbeaten when they host the winless Falcons on Monday night.
Meanwhile, linebacker Ty Summers racked up a team-high nine tackles at New Orleans – but he thinks he play even better.
The 2019 seventh-round draft pick out of T-C-U shined in his regular season debut Sunday night. Summers downplayed his performance telling reporters, ”I have high expectations for myself, so, I would say, not great.”
Summer says he’s going to take the things he did right and wrong, learn from them, and “try to work toward perfection for this next week.”
He should get more snaps with starter Christian Kirskey out with a shoulder injury.
Rookie linebacker Kamal Martin went on the injury list three weeks ago and could return soon.
