A reminder today from Manitowoc Director of Public Infrastructure, Dan Koski, that the City’s 2020 Leaf Pickup Parking Ban is set to begin tomorrow (Thursday, October 1st).
Leaves will be picked up once-a-week on your street sweeping day with the bulk of leaf pickup occurring between October 5th & November 20th, weather-permitting. Koski explains the Residental parking ban runs from 6am to 3pm on the day of your leaf pickup. Brush or Garden Waste will NOT be picked up at those times but residents can take that material to the Manitowoc County compost sites.
If you reside on a street with a parking lane, leaves should be placed in the parking lane of the street in front of your residence the night before your street sweeping day. If there’s NOT a parking lane on your street, leaves can continue to be placed on the terrace.
