The Green Bay Police Department has made an arrest in the suspicious death which occurred last night.
As we previously reported, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Clement Street just after 8:30 PM on a report of gunshots. Two unidentified men were found deceased in the home.
Later in the night, officers located a suspect in the case and began to pursue him. The suspect fled in his vehicle along University Avenue and ended near the intersection of North Broadway and Dousman Street.
As officers were attempting to bring the man into custody, the unidentified male suspect reportedly stabbed an officer in the face, and that officer is now undergoing surgery. Officials say he is expected to be ok.
The suspect also suffered what was termed a wrist injury and is also undergoing surgery.
The GBPD says that the suspect and the victims were known to each other and there is not believed to be a threat to the community.
