The deadline for people to apply for nominations to any of the military service academies is just over a week away.
A news release from Congressman Glen Grothman explains that members of congress can nominate candidates for four of the five total academies, including the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland to name a few.
In the release, Grothman stated, “Nominating young people from Wisconsin’s Sixth District for our country’s military academies is one of the best parts of my job.”
Applications must be turned in by Friday, October 9th, and can be found online at Grothman.House.gov.
