One person is under arrest and several more are accused in a string of racist graffiti incidents in Lincoln County.
Sheriff’s deputies say that an 18-year-old Merrill man has been taken into custody and three people have been cited for repeatedly tagging property around Merrill with swastikas and other hateful messages.
There have been 17 charges filed in total, and the incidents date all the way back to January.
Deputies say they started investigating in September once the cases were connected, and were able to quickly find the suspects.
