Vice President Mike Pence tells supporters in western Wisconsin that the U-S has added millions of jobs the past three years.
Pence spoke to a crowd of about a hundred Thursday at a Midwest Manufacturing building on the campus of Menards’ headquarters in Eau Claire.
The vice president said,” businesses large and small have created more than seven-million good paying jobs, including 61-thousand jobs right here in Wisconsin.”
Pence claimed wages that Wisconsin has already recovered half the jobs lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the Trump administration will continue to impose tariff in an effort to level the playing field for American workers.
Pence also told the crowd that President Trump will nominate a “principled conservative woman” to the Supreme Court Saturday to fill the seat of late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
