In an unusually public move, a retired Wisconsin Supreme Court justice is making an endorsement for president.
Justice Janine Geske served on the state’s high court from 1995 until 1998 after her appointment by former Republican Governor Tommy Thompson.
She’s also a former Marquette Law School professor and current member of the Marquette University Board of Trustees.
Geske said she’s confident Democrat Joe Biden is “the kind of peacemaker, intelligent, hard-working kind of guy that we need in the presidency.”
She says Biden has the capability of talking to both sides, and has done that in the past.
Geske was often seen as a swing vote on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
