The Two Rivers City Council met on Monday, and City Manager Greg Buckley addressed how the City has been affected by the CARES Act “Routes to Recovery” Funding.
Buckley says that the city first requested just over $48,000 on September 15th, with most of the funding allotted for COVID-19 related employee leave and overtime expenses.
A total of just over $186,000 was given to the city, with an additional $5,830 granted to the Wisconsin Elections Commission. This money was used to reimburse the City for the four new laptops that were bought for election purposes, as well as a label printer and postage expenses.
