A 28-year-old Columbus man faces four charges of felony child neglect.
Prosecutors say Timothy S. Hensler left his children at home alone while he went out drinking last weekend.
Police say they saw Hensler and a woman walking in the downtown area just before 1:00 a-m.
Officers gave them a ride home before they appeared to be intoxicated.
They say a six-year-old boy was sitting on the porch crying when they drove up.
Three other children – four, five, and 15 months – were located inside the home and no other adults were present.
