As a reminder, South 21st Street between Clark and Franklin Streets in Manitowoc is scheduled to be closed to traffic starting today.
The road is being closed for pavement repairs on both sides of the Canadian National Railroad Tracks. It is anticipated that the road will be reopened to traffic by the end of the day on Friday, and a detour will be set up to route traffic around the closure.
Another road closure was announced over the weekend as well, with two lanes of traffic on Revere Drive will be closed to traffic starting at 6:00 AM today. This is to allow street crews to make repairs to the Canadian National Railroad crossing.
One lane of travel will remain for South bound and for North bound traffic both being in the east side of the roadway. The work is expected to be completed by 4pm Thursday.
Also a stretch of Highway 151 just southwest of Valders will be closed Monday and Tuesday for drainage repair.
The state Department of Transportation says US 151 from Wisconsin 67 to County A will be fully closed from 8 a.m. Monday to 2:45 Tuesday and all traffic will be detoured.
The department noted that maintenance operation schedules can change due to weather and maintenance crew manpower.
