The operator of a boat involved in a double-fatal accident on Lake Winnebago two years ago has been found guilty.
A Winnebago County jury convicted Brian Sullivan of two counts of homicide by use of a vehicle while having a prohibited alcohol level and two of homicide by use of a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
Sisters Lauren and Cassandra Laabs were riding in a boat operated by their father in 2018. When Sullivan’s boat hit theirs, it threw them into the lake and they drowned.
