The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the brain found this week on a Racine beach isn’t human.
The discovery was made Tuesday morning.
James Senda told authorities he discovered a bag containing the object wrapped in aluminum foil and a flower.
He says it looked real to him and that’s why he quickly turned it over to law enforcement authorities.
Investigators say it came from an animal, but the type of animal wasn’t identified.
