Bail is set at $5000 cash for a 25-year-old Manitowoc man charged in the drug overdose death this summer.
Jeremiah J. Janke is charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide and Two Counts of Delivery of a Schedule One or Two Drug. Police say that an unidentified 24-year-old male was found deceased with Fentanyl and Drug Paraphernalia in the bathroom of a residence in the 1600 block of Clark Street on July Second.
An investigation determined that Jahnke sold drugs to the victim and deceased man’s father. Conditions of bail are that Jahnke have “no contact” with any known drug users or dealers and maintain absolute sobriety.
He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for next Monday at 1:30pm.
