The Manitowoc County Board Ethics Committee met yesterday, but we’re told the panel did not make a recommendation on a complaint filed against County Board Chairman Jim Brey.
No details have been given about the complaint filed against Brey by Supervisor Don Zimmer.
The Ethics panel intends to meet again via zoom at mid-day tomorrow in closed session and a decision could be rendered and made public after that time.
If you’ll recall, Supervisor Zimmer was the subject of a lengthy County Executive committee meeting last month concerning comments he made about the Black Lives Matter group at a city council meeting in July.
