Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian says the first of a series of listening sessions will be held Sunday.
The discussion will cover police-community relations, criminal justice, employment, education, and young people.
The mayor says all of the sessions will be open to the public and they will play a vital role in his effort to move the riot-plagued city forward.
Antaramian says a separate committee will be formed to examine the issue of racism.
He says Kenosha won’t be like other communities who pretend the problem is going to go away.
Antaramian says he will budget for additional police training and move up the funding for body cameras by a year to 2021.
