The Big Ten Conference is expected make an announcement today (Tuesday) about the 2020 football season.
Multiple sources are reporting University presidents and chancellors will vote again after postponing fall sports last August.
Pressure from players, fans, and President Trump has forced the conference to reconsider.
A major factor is the availability of new rapid tests for COVID-19.
If the vote is to jump-start the football season, the earliest teams could play would be October 17th – several weeks later than conferences like the Big 12 and the Southeastern Conference.
Big Ten teams would play eight games only.
