Bail is set at $2500 recognizance bond for a 47-year-old Manitowoc woman facing multiple charges in connection to a hate crime.
Cathleen A. Yauch is charged with making a terrorist threat with a Hate Crime Enhancer-two felony counts of Bail Jumping and one count of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. MPD was called to the Walmart parking lot Friday afternoon for a report of a racist note placed on a car. The note was a “mock hunting” license for black people which used the “derogatory term.” Yauch left the scene and was located by authorities Sunday confessing to them she committed the crime.
Conditions of bail are the have “no contact” with Walmart or the victim and her initial appearance is scheduled for October 5th at 1:30.
