With several colleges around the state reporting positive COVID-19 cases, the question arose, how are those cases reported? Specifically, if a student is from Manitowoc County, but going to school elsewhere, in which County does that positive case get reported?
Manitowoc County Emergency Management Director Travis Waack says that it depends.
Most students list their address as their parents for insurance purposes, but if they are actually living in the dorms, that cases is reported as being in that County, but if they are not, it comes back to Manitowoc County.
