The latest monthly report from the Manitowoc Police Department shows Adult and Juvenile Criminal charges fell dramatically in the city last month.
Figures show criminal charges for Adults dropped in August to 104, compared to 166 one year ago. Meanwhile, the number of criminal charges filed against juveniles decreased from 8 to 2 over that period.
Traffic accidents for 2020 are lower at 719 as opposed to 805 at this time in 2019. But, the number of accidents in the month of August went from 77 last year to 92 last month.
