The Manitowoc woman who collected a trailer load of relief supplies along with cash donations for residents of hurricane-stricken Louisiana, returned home to the lakeshore area Tuesday night.
Theresa Fessler tells SeehfaerNews.com that she and her husband delivered an estimated $20,000 in supplies and monetary donations to people in Lake Charles and smaller communities nearby. The strife residents are going through is close-to-the-heart of Fessler as virtually her whole family resides in that area. Fessler explains the damage from Hurricane Laura is unimaginable and she prays all residents there will be able to keep their spirits up.
She also thanked residents of Manitowoc and Two Rivers for the support, adding many just opened their wallets and gave freely to the cause in Louisiana.
