University of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez says the Badger football and hockey teams will suspend practices for two weeks.
Alvarez made the announcement shortly after U-W Chancellor Rebecca Blank shut down the whole campus Wednesday.
The most recent COVID-19 testing results for U-W athletes find a positive test rate of a little over two percent.
58 of the nearly 4,000 tests were positive for athletes living on campus and another 25 positives for athletes living off-campus.
Just over 730 of them have been taking part in voluntary workouts.
