Federal fraud charges have been announced against a former Wisconsin state senator and tourism secretary.
Kevin Shibilski is accused of storing and disposing of hazardous electronic waste without a permit.
The 59-year-old Shibilski served in the Wisconsin Senate from 1995-to-2002.
His attorney says Shibilski is the real fraud victim.
Last summer, he sued his former business partners at 5-R Processors Limited, saying they used false books and records to lure investors – including Shibilski.
