Kenosha County workers call it a move that boosts your mood.
The fence that has surrounded the courthouse and municipal buildings since August 23rd came down Thursday.
The barrier was erected while Kenosha was the scene of several days of violent protests following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Even though many windows are boarded up, businesses in the neighborhood near the courthouse are serving customers once again.
Kenosha is trying to get back to normal.
Local officials say the boarded-up windows will stay boarded-up until near the end of the month.
