When the Milwaukee Brewers host the Cubs at Miller Park it will be the start of a busy closing schedule including 19 games in 17 days to wrap up the 2020 season.
Ten of those 19 games will be played against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Brewers have about two-and-a-half weeks to catch the Cardinals and claim second place in the National League Central Division. Finishing second means a guaranteed playoff position.
Milwaukee has a record of 19-and-22 right now.
The Brewers could make the expanded 16-team playoff field, even if they don’t pass the Cardinals.
Brandon Woodruff starts the home matchup, with pregame coverage on 107.9 FM WOMT and WOMTRadio.com beginning at 6:35 PM.
